Charge up your career
It takes courage to challenge the ordinary. We're looking for graduates who've got the confidence, ambition and ability to charge up their career and to help drive change at Volkswagen Group UK.
With training and support to stretch your skills, take responsibility and explore your interests, our graduate programme is a great launchpad for your career. Life here is far from ordinary, it's full of unexpected challenges, opportunities and fantastic rewards.
Our two-year structured scheme gives you all the support and development you need to help reshape the way the world moves. You’ll enjoy a range of placements to develop your skills, share your ideas and be a valued member of each team.
On our Commercial Graduate Programme, you’ll spend time in our dynamic Aftersales teams, gaining essential business knowledge and ensuring our customers get the best possible service after they’ve bought one of our products.
Group Parts Operations
If you’re placed in the Group Parts rotation, you’ll get great experience in a highly commercial role. You’ll be involved in business casing, measuring return on investment, driving sales and supporting the tender process for the many suppliers used in Group Parts Operations.
Business Development
If you’re in the Business Development rotation, you’ll be driving business by looking at trends and opportunities to introduce new ideas and improve the customer experience.
Retailer Operations
In the Retailer Operations rotation, you’ll get a great understanding of our nationwide network of dealerships. You’ll work closely with them, so they understand our goals and can provide excellent experiences to increase customer loyalty.
Intelligence
In this placement you’ll be analysing internal and external data to inform our aftersales activities and drive recommendations and improvement.
What do you need?
We're looking for people with curiosity and drive to succeed and who seek out opportunities to learn, develop and stretch themselves. If you share that desire and want to be a part of our success, you're a good match.
You'll need to hold or be working towards a degree in any discipline. We are particularly keen to receive applications from students with business acumen, an aptitude for analytics and great communication skills.
We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our graduates to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office. You'll also need to have the right to work in the UK.
What's in it for you?
As a Graduate, you'll start on a £31,800 salary and get a new car every six months (as long as you have a full, clean UK driving licence). You'll also receive 27 days' holiday – plus bank holidays – a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, a range of flexible benefits, employee well-being support, an on-site restaurant, cycle to work scheme and shopping/entertainment discounts.
What's the assessment process?
Our graduate recruitment process is designed to enable you to show us your true abilities. Once you've hit the apply button, you'll be asked to complete numerical and situational judgement tests. If you successfully complete these, we'll invite you to complete an online video interview so that we have a chance to get to know you.
The final step in the journey would be for you to attend a face-to-face assessment centre in early 2025, where you will take part in a range of activities based on real-life tasks. You'll also have a chance to meet some of our managers and the current graduate cohort.
Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the assessment centre and will join us in September 2025.
Please note that applications may close before the application deadline, so apply early to avoid disappointment.
