  • TPS are recruiting for a National Performance Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

    TPS are one of the three largest parts retailers in the UK.  The National Performance Manager is responsible for driving our network of 80+ centres with over 1,600 employees to deliver the budgeted TPS sales result through a team of Regional Performance Managers and National Account Managers. You will implement all strategic and tactical activities across the TPS network and ensure performance delivery is maximised in all regions and National Account customers through both Mechanical and Accident sales channels. 

    What you could be doing:

    • Working with the Operations and Marketing team to create the tools needed to drive sales: including customer offers and network staff incentives.
    • Closely collaborating with TPS investors and Heads of Business to ensure partnership is optimised by driving centre performance together.
    • To ensure that all retailers maintain compliance to brand operational and franchise standards.
    • Driving performance with TPS Centres utilising their Business Improvement Plan objectives.

    Skills & experience you can bring to the role:

    • Excellent relationship building skills: Ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders including customers in various business settings.
    • Strong communication skills: Capable of influencing at all levels.
    • Team leadership: Proven ability to drive performance of individuals and businesses to deliver outstanding results.

    The Group Parts Operation team is primarily focussed on driving the parts business forward across the whole of the UK through TPS and the Paint and Body network. With the genuine agency model, the Parts Operations team have direct responsibility for all elements of: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience and Finance. The National Performance team comprises of regional managers and national account specialists which enables a multi-layered engagement approach with the TPS network and its largest customers.

    One Aftersales combines experts from across the business into one function, focusing on different areas of our aftersales proposition. Every day is different, often requiring lots of cross-team working and collaboration, with problem solving how to deliver the best experience for our customers once they are owners of one of our vehicles. Decisions have a quick and direct impact on our proposition, and have a major impact on the success of our business; from both a reputational and financial perspective.
