• About The Role

  • Our Finance team in Milton Keynes are recruiting for a Trainee Management Accountant on a full time contract basis for three years where you will get the opportunity to study towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification.

    What you could be doing:
    • You will report into the Financial Reporting Manager and be supporting the management accounts function to ensure accurate reporting.
    • As part of the month end reporting process you will calculate and process accounting adjustments and journals, ensuring that reporting timelines are met and relevant accounting standards are adhered to;
    • You will prepare balance reconciliations and review these with relevant stakeholder.
    • You will collate and prepare financial forecast information for upload into the SAP finance system, ensuring completeness and accuracy throughout the process.
    • You will be responsible for dealing with all assigned audit queries, supplying all assigned deliverables in a timely manner. 
    • You will support wider finance function with any ad hoc data requests and analysis requests.
    Skills and experience you can bring to role:
    • You must have either achieved the ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business (RQL Level 4), the AAT professional Diploma in Accounting or have a relevant accounting, finance or business qualification at degree level.
    • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
    • Able to manage own workload and meet prescribed deadlines
    • Confidence and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
    • Effective communicator with a process improvement mindset
