• About The Role

  • Our Finance team are recruiting for a Group Treasurer and Accounts Payable Support on a full time fixed time contract basis until September 2026.

    Reporting into the Accounting Services Manager you will be responsible for all daily cash management activities and provision of liquidity forecasting information.

    What you could be doing:
    • Daily treasury recording activities and daily collection and payment runs.
    • Short-term cash forecasting and investment activity.
    • Bank account management and Ad-hoc cash allocation and banking of cheques received.
    • Maintenance of the group’s liquidity management tool including monthly submission of the rolling 12 month liquidity forecast.
    • Maintain and report from the company’s employee expenses system and record employee expense claims in the appropriate cost centre and general ledger accountant.
    • Encourage best practice and lead change in Accounts Payable processes and use of systems.
    • KPI reporting on invoice approval and implementation of improvement strategy.
    • Oversee the inter-company reconciliation process.
    • Deputise for Accounting Services Manager where required.
    Skills and experience you can bring to role:
    • Experience of working in a transactional finance role with some treasury knowledge.
    • Highly numerical with ability to analyse data.
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills and used to working to tight deadlines.
    • Ability to use own initiative and challenge the status quo to identify opportunities.
    • Strong IT system knowledge.
