Sales Support Manager

I have been working in the Volkswagen Passenger Cars team for almost five years. In my current role, I am responsible for the strategic relationships with our leasing company partners and all fleet sales in the brand. What I love most about working within the direct sales team is the fast-paced environment and the broad range of stakeholders I work with both internally and externally.

I thoroughly enjoy the business-to-business element of my role – visiting customers, seeing our vehicles on the road and knowing I played a part in getting them from the factory to their destination. By meeting diverse professionals across various business sectors, I learn about their unique needs. It’s a dynamic role that combines relationship-building with the satisfaction of seeing tangible results on the road.

I’ve worked for Volkswagen Group UK for almost 32 years. That may sound like a lifetime, but a fair number of colleagues across the business have been around for a similar amount of time. I think that clearly illustrates what a great place to work this is. There’s such a wide range of roles and benefits available, that there’s no reason to move elsewhere. The Direct Sales teams across all of our brands were established fairly recently to consolidate the areas that focus on selling our vehicles directly to customers. I’m the Fleet Development Manager within the team and we’re primarily responsible for selling vehicles to the various channels within the fleet industry.
