You'll need to be working towards at least a 2.1 degree (of any discipline). As well as your qualifications, we look for relevant work experience, ambition, and a determination to succeed. You'll also need to have the right to work in the UK.
We’re all driven by different things. What matters is that you’re just that: driven. We’re looking for people with the energy and determination to pursue a successful, long-term career, and who seek out opportunities to learn, develop and take responsibility. If you share that desire, you’re the kind of person we want to work with.
Yes, of course. We’re an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all candidates. Please let us know if you have any special requirements so that we can take these into consideration during the recruitment process.
All positions are based in the Volkswagen Group UK head office in Milton Keynes.
As a Graduate, you’ll start on a £31,800 salary and get a new car worth approximately £25,000 every six months (as long as you have a full, clean UK driving licence). You’ll also receive 27 days’ holiday – plus bank holidays – a discretionary bonus, an award-winning pension scheme, a range of flexible benefits, employee well-being support, an on-site restaurant and shopping discounts.
This programme combines on-the-job learning with structured formal training including having access to a LinkedIn Learning access where you access unlimited training courses from Excel to Personal Brand and everything in between. There will also be job shadowing and regular collaboration with senior leadership. When you join, you’ll be assigned a mentor, who’ll be on-hand to offer insight and advice and you’ll have regular meetings with your manager. During these meetings, you’ll create a personal and professional development plan, and map your progress against it. In the second year of the Graduate scheme you will then become a buddy to some of our undergraduates to offer them support in their placement.
During your placement you can take on extra projects that interest you and we’ll teach you useful business skills throughout the programme, including usage of corporate systems (e.g. Microsoft Office), time management and organisation, presentation skills, and commercial awareness. In addition you can get involved with our Forum for all or with Employee Network Groups: We are Driven Women, We Drive Proud, We are Parents and Carers, We Enable and We are Culturally Diverse
Over two years, you’ll complete three roles in different brands, functions and departments where you will be given responsibility, training and direction. Exploring your interests and directing your journey in pursuit of them.
