We have an exciting new role for an experienced Type Approval / Regulatory Compliance Manager to join the Service and Technical team on a full-time permanent basis reporting into the Group Regulation and Compliance Manager.
The role focuses on ensuring VWG brand vehicles adhere to all UK market regulations, providing expertise on all matters relating to GB Type Approval, and managing Conformity of Production (CoP) projects.
Some of the key activities in this role will be managing the varied aspects of vehicle Regulation and Compliance, including conformity of production audit management. This role will include travelling to Group factories globally accompanying authority auditors as part of the CoP activities, at least initially, the expected frequency would be 1 week in every 6.
Type Approval is a key part of the exciting project plans to launch new products to market, so you will be fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders globally, with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
Skills & experience you can bring to the role:
• Strong organisational and project management skills with sound experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience in Quality Management, Type Approval, Homologation or Regulatory Affairs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Experience of government and legislative bodies and certification requirements.
• Aptitude to navigate a broad spectrum of technical subjects at a high level.
